  1. One of my very quiet boys who is so shy that when he reads, I have to lean all the way so I can hear him, had heard music when we were in the cafeteria and he just did some wild and crazy dance:)

  4. So far, not much funny; however, one of my little fellas pulled down his pants and tee-teed on the playground....bless he didn't know he couldn't just go outside! (I teach Kindergarten)

  5. This was a moment I found both heart-warming and hysterical - one of my Grade 1 students (I teacher Prep(kinder)/1) who I taught in 2011 and was one of my lowest readers fell in love with Mo Willems Pigeon books. One afternoon during 'silent' reading, he read 'The Pigeon Wants a Hot Dog' at the top of his voice, reading with expression to a rapt audience of the Prep students in our classroom. Despite it being 'silent' reading, I couldn't say anything because he was reading and reading well. And the way he read it made me (and my student teacher) laugh!

  7. One of the days I had a sub, I left the writing activity My Teacher is Missing. One first grade girl finished her writing with she probably needed a break from us....
